Method
- Steep dates and baking soda in boiling water, mash slightly.
- Cream butter and sugar, then beat in eggs and dates.
- Fold in flour, divide between buttered ramekins, bake at 350F for twenty minutes.
- Pour warm toffee sauce over each pudding to serve.
